SliTaz is a free and open source operating system and utility suite developed by the SliTaz project. It is based on a Linux kernel, BusyBox, TinyX and FLTK, and provides a desktop environment with a simple graphical interface. SliTaz is optimized for low resource environments and its main goal is to provide a very small, fast, and user-friendly operating system. It is designed to be highly customizable, and users can choose the applications they want to include in their system. SliTaz also provides a LiveCD that can boot from a CD, USB, or network. It comes with a large collection of applications and utilities, including web browsers, media players, office suites, and more. Additionally, SliTaz provides a package manager and an easy-to-use graphical interface for installing and managing packages.
