Estoy corriendo Lubuntu 18.04 y me gusta mucho. Como han dicho otros, es una excelente opción para computadoras viejas y de baja especificación. Me he encontrado con algunos errores menores en los temas visuales y GUI, pero no vale la pena preocuparse por nada. De lo contrario muy estable. Con algunos cambios de tema y un fondo de pantalla diferente, en realidad también se ve muy bien. Excepto por la falta de algunos efectos visuales / visuales inútiles, hace básicamente todo lo que pueden hacer las distribuciones más grandes y más hinchadas. Lo tengo instalado en dos computadoras portátiles para el año 2009 diferentes que tienen procesadores de un solo núcleo. En realidad, son bastante tolerables de usar e incluso pueden manejar la edición de audio y video básico. Originalmente probé Linux Mint Xfce en uno de ellos, pero pronto cambié a Lubuntu con la esperanza de que funcionara un poco más rápido.
No me decepcionó.
