Google One is a cloud-based storage and synchronization service created by Google. It enables users to upload and store files, photos, videos, and documents in the cloud and sync them to the user's multiple devices. It provides users with access to their files from any computer or device with an internet connection. Google One also provides users with an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication. Additionally, it can be used to share files with family members, colleagues, or friends. It also offers 1TB of storage space for free, allowing users to store all their files in one place. Google One also provides users with a range of other features, such as access to experts for help, discounts on other Google products, and more storage space.
Discontinued Current subscribers were informed last year that CrashPlan Home will be discontinued in October 2018. The service has recommended users sign up for another home service such as Carbonite, or for CrashPlan's much more expensive business plan.
