Apache Open Office is based on the old StarOffice, which 10-15 years ago was way ahead of MS Office, just like AOO. The other alternative is LibreOffice, which is also based on the same old platform. Those two are especially efficient for work, but also satisfy any need a private user may have.

Veamos el hecho de que esto está hecho por Microsoft y que tienen un historial pobre con la privacidad fuera del camino. Si te importa tu privacidad, ya deberías saber evitar esto. A pesar de lo que otras personas han dicho, no he tenido demasiados problemas con su rendimiento. Tal vez he tenido mucha suerte con los años. Tal vez no he hecho lo suficientemente intensivo como para garantizar un rendimiento lento de Office Suite. En cualquier caso, creo que esta suite debería funcionar lo suficientemente bien para las necesidades generales de la oficina. (De acuerdo, ahora que lo pienso más, diré que la velocidad de carga de las aplicaciones en esta suite puede variar de razonablemente rápida a insoportablemente lenta. Creo que en las máquinas de gama baja, Office se convierte en una tarea para la computadora carga.)
Pero no te dejes engañar! Recuerde, hay alternativas por ahí, de ahí este sitio web. No se deje engañar por la idea de que Microsoft Office Suite es lo mejor y lo único, y que TIENE que desembolsar el dinero para obtenerlo. Honestamente, LibreOffice hace aproximadamente el 95% de lo que Microsoft Office Suite puede hacer, y es gratis. EDITAR: También debo mencionar que hay un impulso de Microsoft, en su edición 356 (o como se llame), para alentar a los usuarios a almacenar sus datos en OneDrive a través de Office. Realmente detesto OneDrive por varias razones (la principal razón es que mi sistema operativo Windows 10 se retrasa en gran medida, por lo que lo descarté, y eso no fue fácil de hacer). Si cree que sus archivos deberían almacenarse en la nube, en la computadora de otra persona, es posible que le guste este producto.

He comparado esta oficina con muchos otros trajes de oficina y puedo decir que esta es la mejor que hay. Tiene una gran interfaz de usuario, muy fácil de encontrar todo. Viene con toneladas de funciones para ayudar a la productividad y acelerar el proceso de refinamiento y obtener lo que necesita. Hay muchas plantillas para comenzar en el documento.

Para todas mis necesidades, tanto personales como profesionales, elijo LibreOffice. Es más rápido, más fácil de usar (especialmente porque los cambios suaves de Micro $ en los menús de cada versión) y gratis.
