Description

WMii (Window Manager Improved 2) is a lightweight, highly configurable, and scriptable X11 window manager. It is a derivative of the older Ion window manager, and is written in the C programming language. It is designed to be efficient and highly customizable, allowing users to create their own layouts, keybindings, and menus. WMii is especially suited for tiling window managers, where windows are automatically arranged into a grid-like layout based on user-defined criteria. It also offers a traditional floating window layout and a hybrid layout that combines features of both. WMii also supports various features such as ICCCM/EWMH compliance, automatic window placement, Xinerama support, virtual desktops, and many others. WMii is an open source software project and is distributed under the GNU General Public License.
