Qtile is an open source, tiling window manager that is written in Python and uses the Qt toolkit. It is designed to allow users to easily manage their desktop layout and applications without having to manually resize and position windows. It divides the screen into non-overlapping “tiles”, which are then managed using a set of keyboard and mouse commands. This makes it easier to switch between tasks, keep windows organized, and quickly move windows around the screen. Qtile also provides users with a wide range of customization options, such as setting the tile size, adding window decorations, and changing the window manager theme.
