Description

Spectrwm is a small dynamic tiling window manager for X11. It tries to stay out of the way so that valuable screen real estate can be used for much more important stuff. It has sane defaults and does not require one to learn a language to do any configuration. It was written by Marc Andre Tanner. Spectrwm has a number of features to manage windows in a highly efficient manner. It supports different layouts, including vertical and horizontal tiling, as well as stacking and tabbing. It is highly customizable, allowing users to define their own keybindings, window placement, and more. It also allows users to easily switch between workspaces, move windows between workspaces, and quickly launch applications. Additionally, it has a number of features to make multi-monitor setups easier to manage.
