Este es un gran programa para el escritorio. La simplicidad de usar un repositorio git (como github) como servidor para la sincronización hace que este programa sea excelente. Es desafortunado que la aplicación de Android no sea tan simple, ya que requiere que configures tu propio servidor. Habría usado este programa todos los días si hubiera podido usar simplemente el mismo repositorio de github en la aplicación.

Utilizamos esta gran herramienta para nuestro trabajo diario: el servidor puede ser un servidor Linux simple o incluso una estación de disco. La configuración del servidor necesitó algo de tiempo por primera vez, pero una vez que entendió cómo funciona, el concepto es realmente simple y conveniente. SparkleShare sincroniza automáticamente todos los datos entre los directorios designados en la computadora y el servidor, y si se usa con GIT, por ejemplo, incluso mantiene las versiones antiguas del archivo. Por lo tanto, es una solución increíble para hacer copias de seguridad de directorios de proyectos en computadoras portátiles.
