Description

Hex Edit is a software application used to edit binary files. It is designed to allow users to view, modify, and save raw data stored in binary files, such as those stored in memory, stored on a hard drive, or stored on a CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc. It is used by developers and IT professionals to debug, troubleshoot and modify data stored in binary files, as well as to perform forensic analysis. Hex Edit displays the contents of a binary file in a hexadecimal format, which is the most common way of representing binary data. This makes it easier to recognize specific patterns and modify the file in a precise way. Hex Edit also allows users to search for patterns and strings of text within a binary file, as well as to compare two similar files for differences.
