Este programa es principalmente una alternativa al photoshop, muchas de las alternativas publicadas son alternativas para los programas de dibujo vectorial como ilustrador. La versión Serifs de Illustrator es un programa llamado Affinity Designer. He estado usando la versión Beta de Affinity Photo y tengo que decir que hasta ahora es muy impresionante, ¡el mejor reemplazo para Photoshop que he usado!

Estaba buscando una buena alternativa de Photoshop, ya que obtuve un nuevo iMac con El Capitan 10.11 y mi Photoshop CS4 dejó de funcionar. Las herramientas que realmente necesito son Pincel corrector, Clon, varias herramientas de selección, capas y máscaras de capa, una herramienta de lápiz para crear objetos vectoriales, la capacidad de escalar y deformar selecciones; básicamente, quería acercarme lo más posible a las capacidades de Photoshop. Cuando encontré la foto de afinidad por $ 30, era escéptico, pero después de usarla por un tiempo, estoy muy contento con ella. Por lo que puedo decir, todos los comandos estándar del teclado de Photoshop funcionan: Espacio para paneo, Espacio-cmd para acercar, Espacio-alt para alejar, J para pincel corrector, B para pincel, P para bolígrafo, etc. También puede agregar o cambiar cualquiera de los atajos de teclado a través de Preferencias.
Hay un buen foro en línea, donde publican tutoriales y responden a los clientes (y los clientes pueden interactuar). La interfaz está limpia, con herramientas a la izquierda, paneles (capas, historial, navegador, canales, muestras, estilos, etc.) a la derecha, y en la parte superior, hay comandos sensibles al contexto que cambian según la herramienta que esté utilizando. Hay soporte para los complementos, aunque tuve que ir a su foro de soporte para buscar instrucciones sobre cómo hacer que funcionen mis complementos de Photoshop. Por lo que puedo decir, no hay nada que reemplace las acciones de Photoshop, que es el mayor inconveniente para mí. Es el programa de edición de imágenes basado en la primera capa (!) Lo que sé, que realmente admite la edición no destructiva. Por ejemplo: inserta una imagen o dibuja algunas cosas en una capa. Transforme esa capa de cualquier manera (gírela, escántela hasta una mano llena de píxeles). Guarde el archivo y ciérrelo. Vuelva a abrir el archivo. Vuelva a escalar la capa modificada anterior a su tamaño original. Y hay todos los detalles originales de vuelta y no fueron destruidos. ¡Eso es totalmente increíble!
