Wire tuvo un comienzo difícil. Una interfaz muy confusa y su solución multiplataforma plagada de errores y mensajes faltantes. Dicho esto, durante los últimos dos años, Wire se ha estabilizado para convertirse en mi principal mensajero. Con el cifrado completo de extremo a extremo integrado, el servidor y el cliente completamente de código abierto, y el amplio soporte multiplataforma, tiene todo lo que uno necesita ahora para ser su controlador principal. Toda mi red social ahora lo usa.

Lo recomiendo altamente. Si te fijas en wikipedia (página en inglés), notarás que es un software de código abierto. La filosofía de las personas que la crearon es totalmente diferente de la de otros propietarios de software. Como europeos, debemos usar esta aplicación en lugar de aplicaciones propietarias y (desafortunadamente) populares. Se puede usar con Ubuntu o Windows, Androi, IOS, Mac. Videollamadas, llamadas de audio, mensajes instantáneos, etc.

En el sitio web afirman que el mensajero es de código abierto, pero en realidad no lo es. Por lo que sé, solo están usando ciertos componentes de código abierto. ¡No es lo mismo! También mienten en su página de Privacidad, diciendo que Signal no encripta los archivos adjuntos. Sí. Ellos si. El código fuente está en GitHub, no es como si Signal pudiera mentir sobre esto y salirse con la suya. Desde Signal-iOS en GithHub: las llamadas telefónicas, los mensajes y los archivos adjuntos solo son visibles para usted y para las demás personas con las que se está comunicando.
