Team Fortress 2 is a highly popular free-to-play, team-based first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to the 1996 mod Team Fortress for Quake and its 1999 remake, Team Fortress Classic. Players join one of two teams, RED or BLU, and must battle in a variety of game modes such as capture the flag and king of the hill. Players gain experience points (XP) by completing objectives, killing enemies, and healing teammates. They can then use these points to unlock new weapons, cosmetic items, and more. Team Fortress 2 features nine distinct character classes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. These classes include the Scout, the Pyro, the Heavy, the Engineer, the Spy, the Sniper, the Soldier, the Demoman, and the Medic. Each class has unique abilities and weapons that make them better suited to certain roles. Team Fortress 2 has become a huge success and is one of the most popular online games around. It is available on PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
Urban Terror is an "unrivaled" first-person shooter game without any class-based gameplay.
