Staticman is an open source tool that provides an easy, secure way for people to interact with websites and applications, without having to worry about security or scalability. It allows users to submit comments, reviews, posts, and other data to dynamic websites and applications, without requiring the user to have an account or login. Staticman works by sending static files (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and JSON) to the server, which are then processed and stored in either a database or a file system. This makes it very easy to set up and maintain, while giving the website or application a great deal of flexibility and scalability.
