Cómo solucionar "No se puede copiar el archivo. El parámetro es incorrecto "error. Tuvo que rascarse la cabeza hoy mientras migra algunos datos de un disco duro externo USB de 500GB a un nuevo disco duro externo USB de 1TB, ambos conectados a un servidor cliente. Algunos de los datos se negaron a copiar, arrojando un "No se puede copiar el archivo". El parámetro es error incorrecto "cada vez. El mismo error cuando se intentó la copia en DOS, RoboCopy o XCOPY. Tras una investigación, cada uno de los archivos problemáticos tenía un tamaño de más de 10 GB, y de repente se dio cuenta de que el nuevo disco duro externo tenía el formato FAT32 y no NTFS, y por lo tanto sufría el límite de archivos de 4GB de FAT32. Un formato rápido para NTFS en la unidad, y pude copiar esos archivos grandes sin problemas.
Obviamente, me he acostumbrado tanto a trabajar con archivos de gran tamaño que a veces me olvido de que las cosas no siempre son así.
