Unison is a free, open-source, cross-platform application that allows users to securely synchronize and backup files between two or more computers. It works on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Unison can be used to synchronize files between a desktop computer and a laptop, or even between multiple computers on a local network. It is ideal for keeping data up to date across multiple computers. Unison's synchronization and backup features provide users with a powerful and reliable way to keep their data in sync. It can synchronize files across computers, as well as perform incremental backups that only transfer changes since the last backup. Unison can also detect conflicts, such as when two computers have different versions of the same file, and can be configured to help the user resolve them. Unison also supports secure connections over SSH, so users can access their data over the internet with confidence.
