Solía usar TeraCopy cuando eso era lo único disponible que podía hacer verificaciones básicas de integridad de archivos. Ahora utilizo FastCopy, que es de código abierto, más rápido, gratuito (¡BSD en lugar de GPL!), Y tiene muchas más funciones. La mejor parte es que está disponible en la suite PortableApps, por lo que siempre la tienes contigo y nunca debes preocuparte por buscar nuevas versiones (es automática). Disculpe, pero TeraCopy es una mierda. ¿Por qué? Porque fragmenta los archivos, incluso si se copian en un hdd con formato nuevo y en blanco. Lo comparé con UltraCopier, FastCopy y KillCopy. Estos programas no fragmentan innecesariamente los archivos. Y con UltraCopier y KillCopy, incluso puede asignar previamente el espacio en disco para asegurarse de que no se produzca una fragmentación. Sin embargo, UltraCopier tiene un gran problema: no puede iniciarlo sin derechos de administrador. Además, se bloquea Windows Explorer regularmente. Entonces, las mejores alternativas son FastCopy y KillCopy.

Lo intenté pero realmente no puedo ver la ventaja. Primero, introduce un tiempo de inactividad cuando comienzo un proceso de copia y me encuentro preguntando si funciona o no, y segundo, cuando aparece el cuadro de diálogo, proporciona información incorrecta sobre el tiempo que necesita copiar y la barra de progreso también es incorrecta. Quizás soy el único que experimenta estas carencias. De todos modos, lo desinstalé de nuevo.

He intentado usar TeraCopy por muchos años y siempre me ha dado problemas. No recomendaría el uso de este software (estable o beta). Notaré que ha sido menos estable en Windows 10 que en versiones anteriores de Windows. El aspecto más molesto de este programa es que cuando falla un trabajo de transferencia, no lo hace. No proporcione ningún tipo de solución.

Realmente no puedo comprender sus usos. Sé que es un producto de Freemium, pero las características de esta cosa que están disponibles siempre se cuelgan para mí. La característica premium que no está disponible no se suma. La copiadora imparable de Roadkill es mucho mejor tbh. Mi opinión es que soy un tipo novato que está feliz con cosas simples pero con habilidades compactas. Yo apesto a escribir críticas también
