Las fotos arruinan por completo la organización de las fotos que solía ser simple en iPhoto (aunque es un desperdicio de espacio en el disco). Todas las fotos se agrupan en una línea de tiempo en lugar de poder derivarlas en eventos que permiten una fácil navegación. Además, Fotos no importaba videos de manera confiable, y no eliminaba de manera confiable fotos importadas de la tarjeta de mi cámara Sony. Al final tuve que mover todas mis fotos de este programa a una máquina con Windows para organizarlas nuevamente, y hubo una gran cantidad de duplicaciones, y las fotos de 2013 se listaron como 2017 simplemente debido al tiempo de descarga. Además, la "actualización" de iPhotos a Photos hizo que esta nueva MacBook Pro se ejecutara de forma extremadamente lenta: tuvo que reinstalar MacOSSierra como una instalación limpia para deshacer el desorden.
De lo contrario, es muy agradable hacer una edición simple sin temor a destruir el original, y es conveniente poder crear un libro de fotos fácilmente desde el programa. Pero ahora almacenaré mis fotos simplemente en un directorio manualmente.
