Description

Cryptomator is an open source encryption tool that helps you to protect your cloud-stored files from unauthorized access. It enables you to store files locally or in the cloud, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive, and provides a high level of encryption for your data. With Cryptomator, you can create your own virtual hard drives, also known as vaults, that are encrypted with either a master password or a key file. If you choose the master password option, it will be used to generate an encryption key that will be used to protect your data. With the key file option, you can create a vault with a unique key file that will be used to encrypt and decrypt your data. The encryption is done locally on your device, so your data is secure even if your cloud storage is compromised. Cryptomator also offers a secure sharing feature where you can share files securely with other users.
