Description

CryFS is a security and privacy application that encrypts your files before uploading them to any cloud storage provider, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. It is designed to protect your data from prying eyes, even if the cloud storage provider is breached. It uses strong encryption algorithms to make sure your data is safe and secure. CryFS works by creating an encrypted folder on your local computer, which is then synced with the cloud storage provider of your choice. All files and folders stored in the encrypted folder are encrypted with AES-256 and authenticated with SHA-256. This ensures that only you have access to your data, and even cloud storage providers can't access it. CryFS also features a number of security features, such as an optional password protection and two-factor authentication, to help ensure your data remains secure. It also includes a secure file sharing feature, which allows you to safely share files with others without having to worry about them being accessed without your permission.
