CinePaint is a professional image manipulation and retouching application developed by the CinePaint Team. It is based on the famous GIMP image manipulation program and is used for high-end film and television production, as well as for digital painting, animation and photo retouching. The program is used to create and modify digital images, such as digital painting and digital matte painting. It supports high-dynamic-range images, multiple layers, and a wide variety of image formats, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and others. It has a powerful set of tools for image manipulation, such as cloning, retouching, color correction, and special effects. Its user-friendly interface allows for easy use and makes it ideal for both professional and amateur users. CinePaint is available for both Windows and Mac OS X.
Microsoft announced that Paint is officially discontinued with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. However, the latest version of the program will still be usable in Windows 10.
