He usado varias pilas de WAMP y MAMP a lo largo de los años, y de todas ellas, AMPPS ha sido el MÁS DIFÍCIL de usar y el que lleva más tiempo resolver problemas. Hubiera sido más rápido y fácil instalar Apache y MySQL desde cero. Realmente, REALMENTE es difícil tener los htdocs en cualquier lugar que no sea donde AMPPS lo quiere. (Esto hubiera sido un factor decisivo si lo hubiera sabido de antemano, porque me resulta inútil para mi PC de trabajo). Esta es la ÚNICA pila que he usado que tiene problemas para tomar el puerto 80 de los diversos procesos del sistema de Windows Eso siempre parece querer usarlo. El instalador de Softaculous parece una buena cosa al principio, pero insiste en prefijar las tablas de la base de datos, lo que lo hace inútil como herramienta de creación de prototipos.
Recomendación general: elegir algo más.
