Description

YUM (Yellowdog Updater, Modified) is a package manager for Linux systems. It is used for installing, updating, and removing software packages on Linux systems. YUM manages groups of packages and allows users to easily install, remove, and update software. It is a system-wide package manager that can be used to find, install, and manage software packages from a variety of different repositories, such as Fedora, CentOS, Red Hat, and other Linux distributions. YUM allows users to search for and install packages from a variety of repositories, as well as install and update packages from the command line.
