It's just a trello clone but there are much better alternatives.
More options, fewer restrictions, more control.
It is the best of the open source options, which is all I really care about these days. it is not strictly kanboard like trello, as it has other features as well. however, it has a very nice feature set of kanboard comparable to trello. there are other open source alternatives that are strictly kanboard, like wekan. however, none of them match the ui and ux experience of taiga.io.
It is not a project management tool or kanban board.
I use Todoist every day, it's a good task management and GTD tool. But there are no kanban boards. Maybe it is possible to adopt Todoist for kanban methodology, but it will not be the traditional way nor the traditional view.

Trello is simple and the asana is too complicated.

Provides an alternative way to organize and view tasks and activities. Hierarchical lists, ease of assignment and labeling provide a good way to divide work and information in a different way. Task-based lists can be easier when working with customer areas that understand task-driven activity more easily than story-based ones. The tree structure allows for a more logical breakdown.
Wrike does not look like a Kanban tool
Remember The Milk is a simple task list, not a project management tool. It does not even support subtasks, which to some extent would be similar to project management.
The many different views and options make it much more flexible and complex than trello. At the same time, it has a very clean design and you see the important things right away.
Very well done application! You can customize any dashboard with custom fields, formulas ... You can even work with your teammates on the same board and everyone can set up a custom view (kanban, list, table ...) with filters and everything. Very customizable compared to Trello.
It offers more different views and filters, so you have a better overview. You can create your own fields by referencing any other Zenkit collection you like.
Nice user interface More features. Deeply integrated with the mind mapping tool.
Trello is more intuitive and easier to use than OpenProject. Also, it does not have the same list structure as in Trello. I got lost a lot in OpenProject while searching for a task.
