Tomato Timer is a web-based productivity app that helps users stay focused and get things done. It is based on the Pomodoro Technique, a time management system developed by Francesco Cirillo. The app helps users break down their tasks into 25-minute intervals (called “Pomodoros”) with short breaks in between. During each Pomodoro, users focus on a single task and set a timer for 25 minutes. Once the timer is up, users can take a short break before starting their next Pomodoro. This system helps users stay focused on their task, avoid procrastination, and manage their time effectively. The app also features a built-in to-do list, where users can track their progress, and a “focus mode”, which hides all unnecessary elements while the timer is running.
