Rubyripper is an open source, cross-platform digital audio extraction (DAE) application designed for extracting audio from CD-ROMs. It uses the AccurateRip and cdparanoia libraries to ensure maximum accuracy in extracting audio from CDs. It features a multi-threaded, parallel ripping process and a wide range of output formats. It is capable of extracting audio in WAV, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and MP3 formats, as well as encoding audio in LAME (MP3).
