FairStars CD Ripper is a digital audio ripper and converter for Windows. It enables users to extract audio tracks from audio CDs and encode them into popular audio formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC and WAV. The program also supports a wide range of options for extraction and conversion, such as bitrate, channels, sampling rate and others. Additionally, users can also add metadata to their music files, including artist, title, album, year and genre. The program also provides support for multiple languages and comes with an intuitive user interface.
The discontinued development seems to be stopped. The latest version, 0.9.1, released in August 2009, can still be downloaded from the official website.
