Retroshare: amigos no incluidos! ¡Si quieres saber qué puede hacer esta aplicación, necesitarás algunos amigos! O puedes ser como yo, siempre solo, y configurar dos computadoras y probarlo. Después de unos 30 minutos de perder el tiempo, he aquí algunas impresiones preliminares que tuve. Los certificados es probablemente lo más difícil de administrar con Retroshare. Intercambiarlos fue fácil, usando servicios de pegado en línea que expiran (usé Hastebin y Ghostbin para esto), aunque cualquier método que se pueda imaginar para enviar un bloque de texto funcionará. Sin embargo, firmar y validar los certificados no fue muy claro para mí. Podría ser solo yo, ya que esta era la primera vez que gestionaba certificados como este. El diseño de la GUI es bastante agradable, aunque los usuarios primerizos pueden sentirse abrumados por las opciones.
Se necesita un poco de navegación y de trabajo para aprender todo lo que Retroshare tiene para ofrecer. Permite a los usuarios chatear con cada nodo único al que están conectados, chatear solo con nodos seleccionados, crear identidades alternativas, enviar mensajes de correo electrónico a ciertos nodos y compartir una carpeta de archivos con ciertos nodos (directorio compartido), entre otras cosas. . Desafortunadamente, no tuve la oportunidad de probar las pestañas "Canales", "Foro" y "Enlaces", pero lamento que esas pestañas sean muy útiles para aquellos que les gusta compartir cosas con sus amigos. Tal vez la velocidad de Retroshare era un problema del pasado, porque no he tenido ningún problema serio de conectividad al intentar contactar con otros nodos ... nuevamente, podría ser porque los nodos a los que me conecté estaban cerca, para empezar.
Realmente no sé qué tan bien funciona para los nodos de larga distancia. En general, creo que Retroshare es una plataforma viable para conectarse con amigos de una manera descentralizada.
