Description

Pure Data (Pd) is a visual programming language for creating interactive computer music and multimedia works. It is an open-source project maintained by an international community of developers. Pd is designed to facilitate the rapid development of new technologies, applications, and processes. It can be used to create interactive audio, video, and graphics applications, and to control hardware such as MIDI synthesizers and sensors. Pd is a graphical programming language that uses patches, or "patches", to connect objects together. Each patch is a collection of objects that can be connected together to build an interactive application. It can be used to create music, video, and graphics applications, and to control hardware such as MIDI synthesizers, sensors, and robotic systems. Pd can also be used to create interactive web applications, and to design interfaces for physical computing projects.
