VCV Rack is a virtualized Eurorack modular synthesizer application for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It allows users to create and experiment with virtual modular synthesizers, using modules from various hardware and software manufacturers, as well as custom modules created by independent developers. The application is designed to emulate the experience and workflow of a real modular synthesizer, allowing users to patch audio and control signals between multiple modules. It features an intuitive user interface, a variety of audio effects and modulation options, and the ability to save and recall patches and sequences. VCV Rack is free, open-source software, and is available in both a standalone version and a plugin format for compatible DAWs.
