Después de realizar una prueba muy poco científica de la calidad del video entre un par de aplicaciones de reproductores multimedia en la App Store, he determinado que OPlayer es una pieza de chatarra. Con un MOV de 720p (filmado por la cámara de video de mi iPod Touch 4), OPlayer estaba rezagado y no había sonido. Tampoco lo hizo mejor con un AVI de alta definición. Al reproducir un AVI de definición estándar, OPlayer eliminó por completo la calidad de la imagen. Obviamente, OPlayer no puede reproducir video HD. Y cuando se trata de la definición estándar, no es mejor que la aplicación VLC, que hace lo mismo de forma gratuita.
