Description

Nethogs is an open-source network monitoring application for Linux, MacOS, and Windows that allows users to view and analyze the traffic of each individual process on a device. It provides a comprehensive overview of all network activity, including the total amount of data sent and received, as well as how much data each process is using. It also shows the process name, the user that owns the process, and the IP address of the remote host if applicable. Nethogs is useful for troubleshooting network issues, monitoring bandwidth usage, and identifying network-hungry applications. It can also be used to detect malicious activity such as port scans, data exfiltration, and more.
