Minecraft is a sandbox video game created by Swedish game developer Markus “Notch” Persson and released by Mojang in 2011. The game allows players to build with a variety of different blocks in a 3D procedurally generated world, requiring creativity from players. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple game modes are available, including a survival mode where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players and a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with. It has most of the features of Minecraft. What it doesn't have can be added to the game easily and quickly through mods and texture packs. Since it is also open source, the community is constantly improving it.
Minetest is an open source, community-driven block game. It is easy and fun to write mods for Minetest using Lua. Because of the modifications, each of the 200+ publicly available servers are unique.

SurvivalCraft has a unique feature where you can easily download and upload adventure maps without having to pay or use an external application. Overall, it's pretty fun to play. However, Minecraft is a bit more fun!

A great alternative that uses lego bricks instead of traditional blocks.
With guns and a little hardcore. No more mod and no more server. Almost only the single version and the last one have cooperation problems.
You have to pay for everything, you can't mod and you can't run a server like you do in Minecraft.
This is not an alternative to Minecraft. Period.
MInecraft is offline and online RBX is online only
It has the same voxel feel but with different features and a 2D side view, and even has servers, unfortunately it has no modifications.
