Infiniminer is a sandbox-style computer game developed by independent game developer Zachtronics Industries. The game was released in April 2009 and was later made available for free through Steam. The game is set in a randomly generated 3D world, in which the player can build and mine blocks of various materials to construct buildings, tunnels, and other structures. The player is able to customize the look of their character and can join up to four other players in a game. The objective of Infiniminer is to be the first person to collect a certain number of blocks of a certain material. The game features a variety of tools such as pickaxes, shovels, and explosives to help the player in their task. The game also has a number of obstacles such as water, lava, and monsters, which the player must overcome to be successful.
