Azure ha sido increíble. Nuestra aplicación se ejecuta al 100% en Azure. Y lo estamos haciendo sin máquinas virtuales. Es 100% PaaS a través de los sitios web de Azure. Aprovechamos los servicios de PaaS en la galería. Y la configuración completa nos ha permitido hacer más de 5 lanzamientos al día en cada compromiso de desarrollador. Las ranuras de sitios web son impresionantes para los flujos de DevOps. Nuestra aplicación no es .Net es PHP. Creo que obtendríamos algún beneficio con una aplicación .Net. Pero no nos ha impedido nada. Incluso podemos usar el grupo de cadenas de conexión para cambiar entre las bases de datos de prueba y de prueba automáticamente durante el proceso de lanzamiento. Solo unas simples llamadas al SDK de Azure. La razón por la que decidimos usar Azure sobre Amazon son los premios UX de nuestra compañía.
Y podríamos hacer algo en Azure en un tercio del tiempo que tomaría uso en Amazon. Y sabiendo lo que está sucediendo, uno no necesita matemáticas extrañas ni comprar herramientas especiales de administración e informes.

Fue un gran error usar Azure! ¡Recomendaron usar sus federaciones SQL de Azure durante AÑOS y luego simplemente lo deshabilitaron! Tenemos que pasar 8 meses para volver a escribir nuestro servicio completo. Y la única razón para el cierre fue su departamento de BA, que decidió que deberían proporcionar PREMIUM SQL mucho más costoso en lugar de las Azure Federations baratas, incluso si ambas hacen lo mismo. ¡Los clientes tienen que pagar 15 veces más por el mismo servicio que antes!

Hemos estado utilizando MS Azure durante casi 4 años, durante los primeros 3 años todo estuvo bien, pero luego empezamos a tener ralentizaciones terribles y múltiples errores 502. Cuando empezamos a tener problemas, tuvimos que subir el servidor para acelerarlo. Si el técnico no lo encuentra, mi aplicación no vale nada, incluso en un momento tranquilo como un domingo por la tarde. Soy un usuario final, no soy un técnico, pero diré que MS Azure apesta, evítelo a toda costa. No hay soporte alguno para todo el dinero que paguemos por sus servicios. Estamos buscando en otra parte ahora.
