MakeHuman is an open source, free 3D computer graphics software developed by a community of volunteers. It is used to create realistic 3D human models for use in animations, films, 3D printing, and virtual reality. It is designed with a simple and intuitive graphical user interface, so users of all levels can easily create realistic human models with a few clicks. With MakeHuman, users can customize the details of the 3D models, including body shape, age, gender, hair, and clothing. It also comes with a variety of tools to help you create detailed and realistic characters, including facial expression and clothing adjustments. MakeHuman also provides a library of ready-made 3D models that can be used as a starting point for creating a new character.
Makehuman is for generating human meshes from variables set by the user, almost always with the intention of importing into another program. Blender is a full 3D modeling / rendering program, but has no human generation features.
