iTerm is a powerful and full-featured terminal emulator program for MacOS and iOS operating systems. It is a replacement for the default macOS Terminal app with many useful features such as split panes, search, autocomplete, and clipboard history. It also supports a wide range of customization options which can be used to customize the look and feel of the terminal window, such as changing the font, colors, size, and layout. iTerm also supports a number of scripting languages, making it easier to automate tasks such as managing files and running commands. Additionally, iTerm also supports SSH, telnet, and serial connections, allowing users to connect to remote servers and access the command line of those servers.
SSH is a connection tool, it does not restructure the terminal interface.
It's in Js / html / Css -> easy to do plugins
As for the consoles ... I do not think that counts as one.
Discontinued The project appears to be no longer under development. The latest version, 1.2.0, released in July 2015, is still available for download from GitHub
They are completely different things. OpenSSH is not a terminal emulator like iTerm.
