Google Search is an online search engine developed by Google. It is a web-based search engine that allows users to search the internet for documents, images, videos, news, and other content. It is one of the most popular search engines on the web, used by millions of people every day. It is a powerful tool that allows users to quickly find relevant information on any topic. It uses advanced algorithms to generate search results and to rank them in order of relevance. Google Search also includes tools such as autocomplete, spell check, and translation to help users quickly find the information they are looking for. Additionally, it offers other services such as Google Maps, Google Scholar, Google News, and Google Shopping, allowing users to access more information about a topic.
DuckDuckGo is very fast and convenient. It just gives us search without any useless junk and adds. I hope DuckDuckGo will continue to evolve more in the future.
Fast, excellent results, one of the most private. Does not track you (although there is no search proxy). The best alternative to all search engines.
It fully respects user privacy and does not censor search results based on SJW complaints, which means it supports freedom of speech.
It doesn't track its users at all. hits! Direct answers and many other unique DuckDuckGo features.
Fast, private, hits you and doesn't track you, unlike the evil Google.
Privacy-based, non-personalized results are the same for all users.
Does not log IP addresses, preserves privacy and good search results.
as the number 1k, the best search engine, more privacy and no more clues :), I really like it.
Privacy protection, bangs, quick responses.
Gives a lot of control over the user interface
Bangs are very useful for searching hundreds of third-party sites.
Direct access to privacy,! bang for external website
DuckDuckGo is an excellent alternative to Google Search. I especially like its YouTube Watch option here (youtube-nocookie.com).
A search engine that respects your privacy probably more than you do, and does not choose what information you want it to read. Like google's pro-hillary filtering.
DuckDuckGo itself is not a search engine as far as I can tell. Rather, it provides privacy by hiding your custom IP address. It also allows you to easily use a number of standard or non-standard search engines. And you can specify which engine to use per search. It seems to default to Bing. Highly recommended.
Really efficient search engine, excellent design, no tracking, focused on protecting your privacy. Great.
Respect your privacy, you have a very fast 'light version', perfect when you need efficiency or work on a slow connection.
EU-based, private, fast and efficient.
Privacy based unlike Google and also very good results.
Good equivalent, work entierly without Google (DuckDuckGo is using google)
Uses Google, but does not require you to give up personal information while using it, i.e. your location is not recorded.
It uses Google but does not track or keep records. The only downside is the ads (well, not the ads themselves, just the fact that they are based on the user's location).
It has the same results as Google, and many options.
It does not keep records, focused privacy, Google search results with maximum privacy, not the US service.
Similar to DuckDuckGo, Startpage is a privacy-friendly search engine. It does not record your personal information when you use it for searches. The downside is that sometimes its results are not as relevant as Google's.
Once properly customized, it can provide results from all search engines in one place with privacy and anonymity benefits
Searx is open source. Its business model does not involve logging everything you search for and using it to create a profile of all your browsing and then selling that information. Searx is a privacy-friendly search engine, similar in its goals to DuckDuckGo and Startpage.
Use proxy !!! That's a feature that only a few search (or meta-search) engines have! Plus open source. There are a wide variety of sites to choose from. Framasoft's search engine is based on searx (framabee.org). The results may not be accurate at times, but that's because they don't crawl you at all!
You can connect multiple search engines, including those you run yourself (such as YaCy or Solr). The API also makes it possible to perform your own linguistic analysis of search results to improve accuracy.
Customizable, protects you from tracking and still provides a good search result.
Far superior to Google search: - Results are much more relevant to the search - Change the image every day, gives a very personal and fresh feel. The 'Trending' bar at the bottom of the page gives a snapshot of current events and news.
Usable in mainland China, excellent results, perfect daily image.
Bing does not hand does not censor as heavy as Google. Except in the Chinese market, where they are forced by the government to censor.
You can even earn rewards for using Bing, and it's not much different.
I was looking for specific information and ecosia gave me the best result.
You can use all search engines privately (except Google, but that is temporary).
You can find even better stuff on Yandex. Not the most "modern" results, but yes, quality stuff!
It has its own advanced search operators.
Discontinued website / service not available.
Discontinued The search engine for this site has recently been discontinued. Closed by notice: https://privacore.github.io/
Open source, privacy-oriented, independent. Everything Google search is not.
Offers Bangs like DuckDuckGo, but more powerful and customizable. The default search engine can be Google, or anything else.

It respects your privacy and results are not personalized.
