ABCL is designed to be a full-featured, high-performance Common Lisp implementation that is small and easy to deploy. It is suitable for use in large-scale web applications, small scripting tasks, and as an embedded scripting language. ABCL has a rich set of features, including powerful macro system, garbage collection, dynamic loading and linking, multithreading, and support for the CLOS object system. ABCL is also interoperable with other Java applications, allowing it to be used as a scripting language in larger Java applications.
