Adium is an open source instant messaging application for Mac OS X. It allows users to connect to multiple instant messaging services at once, including AIM, ICQ, Jabber, Yahoo, Facebook, and many more. Adium also has built-in encryption, so conversations can be kept private. It also features contact management, file transfer, multiple accounts support, chat logging, and numerous customization options. It is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, as well as discuss topics with people from all over the world.
Use a Trillian account, not Jabber, AIM, MSN, etc.
