Como soy un gran fanático de cualquier aplicación diseñada para acelerar el trabajo, consideré usar un rastreador de tiempo hace algún tiempo. Yaware.TimeTracker fue una de las herramientas que encontré. Yo diría que es una buena aplicación para rastrear el tiempo. Lo que me gusta de esto es que es automático. Comienza a registrar el tiempo una vez que enciendo la computadora, por lo que una buena parte de esto es que no tienes que recordar los temporizadores. Está basado en la web, lo cual es muy conveniente ya que las estadísticas están disponibles en línea, así que las veo en mi iPad. También he configurado notificaciones diarias a través de dispositivos móviles para consultar los informes. He encontrado esto útil porque puedo ver el resumen completo de mi día: qué tareas estaba realizando, durante cuánto tiempo, qué aplicaciones usé y si puedo seguir el plan diario.
Otra cosa buena de Yaware.TimeTracker es que clasifica las aplicaciones y los sitios. Existen 3 categorías: productivas, improductivas y neutrales. Acabo de usar la categorización que la aplicación hace automáticamente para ahorrar tiempo, pero hice algunos ajustes menores (como especificar que los medios sociales son productivos cuando los uso en el trabajo). Me gustó más esta característica de Yaware.TimeTracker. Muchas otras aplicaciones de seguimiento de tiempo no lo tienen. Mientras tanto, es bastante bueno porque es más fácil ver los informes. Puede comprobar rápidamente cuánto tiempo es productivo / improductivo. Lo que no me gusta de la aplicación es que no tiene funciones para la gestión de proyectos. Así que tienes que encontrar otra forma de rastrear cosas como proyectos, tareas y cosas por el estilo.
Aún así, esta es una aplicación buena y confiable para rastrear el tiempo y diría que sus características actuales superan la falta de funciones de gestión de proyectos.
