XVT (eXtensible Visualization Toolkit) is a powerful and extensible development toolkit for creating interactive 3D visualizations and applications. It is written in Java and designed to be used with the Java Virtual Machine, allowing it to run on any platform that supports the Java platform. XVT contains an extensive collection of modular components for building visualizations, including 2D and 3D graphics, animation, physics, audio and video, and many more. It also provides tools for creating interactive user interfaces and controls, such as menus, buttons, and sliders. XVT also includes a wide range of simulation and analysis tools, such as particle systems, physical engines, and data analysis algorithms. With its powerful and extensible API, XVT can be used to create powerful 3D applications, such as virtual reality simulations, serious games, and interactive educational tools.
Discontinued It is no longer being developed. The latest version, 5 Beta 9.2 (4.9.9.2), released on February 21, 2005, is still available for download, but a maintained version of Dev-C++ with updated code is https://alternativeapp.info/software/orwell-dev-c- /
