Description

XORP (eXtensible Open Router Platform) is an open source, extensible, and robust software router platform for both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. XORP is designed to provide a powerful, reliable, and flexible router platform for building large scale networks. It provides a rich set of features and capabilities such as dynamic routing protocols, firewall policies, traffic engineering, and high availability. XORP also provides an easy to use, intuitive, and powerful web-based graphical user interface for network administrators to manage and configure the router. The powerful XORP platform makes it easy for network administrators to build complex network topologies and quickly deploy new services. XORP is used in many large-scale networks, including the Internet, corporate networks, and research and academic networks.
