XBian is an open-source, minimalistic operating system designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi. It is based on the popular Linux distribution Debian and is designed to be lightweight and energy efficient. XBian has been designed to be easy to use and configure, and is well suited for home theater and media centers. The platform provides support for all major media formats, and is capable of playing videos and movies from local storage, as well as streaming them from the internet. XBian also features an intuitive user interface, allowing users to quickly and easily access their media content.
