WorldWide Telescope (WWT) is a free, open source software platform created by Microsoft Research for exploring and visualizing the universe. The app and website allow users to access images from the world's leading ground and space-based telescopes, as well as interactive 3D visualizations of the sky, from their own computers. WWT can be used to explore and study celestial bodies, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and other astronomical phenomena. Users can also access educational content such as videos, tours, and podcasts. Furthermore, WWT offers collaboration tools and a community of users to share, discuss, and explore the universe together. WWT is also a great tool for educators, allowing them to create interactive lessons and activities for students.
