Windows Live Mail is an email client from Microsoft that is part of the Windows Essentials suite of applications. It allows users to sync multiple email accounts, manage all of their email in one place, and keep their inbox organized. It also offers features like spell checking, calendar integration, and contact management. Additionally, Windows Live Mail includes features to help protect users from viruses, phishing attacks, and malware. It also supports multiple languages, allowing users to communicate with friends around the world in their own language.
Among other things, there are no provisions for opening non-system folders to hold different files. You can open one, but it doesn't allow you to write or delete, or generally work in it. It's passable but far from being similar to WLMail. :)
Free version only supports 2 accounts
eM Client is a solid and feature-rich alternative, but note that it is limited to 2 mailboxes in a free account.
It is an excellent alternative, if you plan to switch to Mac, but currently there is no support for Windows, so it is not a real alternative.
Mailbox is a good alternative to Windows Live Mail because you can add multiple accounts, a simple interface and support notifications.
The discontinued Opera Mail is no longer updated and is no longer supported, but the latest version, 1.0.1044, released in February 2016, can still be downloaded from the official website.
Discontinued The project seems to be no longer developed. It was last committed to the GitHub repository on June 27, 2016, but can still be downloaded and installed.
Does not allow saving e-mail messages as msg or eml files.

Ciertamente he usado mejores clientes de correo, y he usado mucho MUCHO clientes de correo.

Thunderbird does not have the simplicity of Outlook Express/Live Mail. Thunderbird is like the light of evolution. Very detailed configurations. When "some" does not work, you can not write and save draft.
