Windows Live Family Safety is an online safety and security application designed to help parents protect their children while they are online. It allows parents to set up web filters, monitor online activity, and set time limits for computer and device use. Parents can also receive alerts when suspicious activity is detected, as well as monitor activity on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Windows Live Family Safety also allows for the creation of a “Family Safety Zone” which allows parents to set up a safe place for their children to use the computer or device. This safe area can be used to block certain types of websites or activities, as well as to set time limits for the use of certain programs or websites.
