Description

WakeMeOnLan is a free utility that allows users to remotely turn on computers from their own computers. This can be done by sending a special packet of data known as a "magic packet". It is especially useful for computers that are on a local network or on the same subnet as the user's computer. The app or website can be used to remotely power on computers, servers, and other networked devices that support the Wake-on-LAN (WoL) protocol. The user simply needs to enter the MAC addresses of the target devices, select the network adapter to be used, and then click a button to send the wake-up packet. WakeMeOnLan can also be used to scan the local subnet for active computers and to display the list of computers and their MAC addresses. It supports command-line parameters which allow users to run the utility from batch files or scripts.
