Construimos una red de tenencia múltiple con un enrutador virtual de 16 vyos. La sintaxis es fácil de aprender, el tiempo de configuración es muy rápido, instale, config, ahorre y ya está. Además no necesita mucho cpu, ram y hdd. El monitoreo con snmp también funciona. La documentación de la wiki es enorme y hay muchas fuentes en la www que pueden ayudar. El foro es un buen lugar, buena gente, buen producto. ¡Recomiendo vyos!

El año pasado pasé semanas enteras tratando de usar Ubuntu para hacer que el enrutamiento del BGP-4 funcionara a través de los túneles IPSec para AWS sin éxito. Una vez que descubrí VyOS y lo probé, tuve toda la configuración en funcionamiento en menos de una semana. es cierto que la versión actual se basa en una versión antigua de Debian, pero el equipo está trabajando arduamente para solucionar eso y las deficiencias relacionadas con el legado, y es muy amigable y útil. Los túneles IPSec pueden dejar de funcionar después de un tiempo muy largo (podrían ser meses, lo sospecho está relacionado con errores en el manejo del software subyacente sobre una cierta cantidad de tráfico), un simple reinicio corrige esto. Solo hay que cuidarlo.
