UltraHLE (Ultra High Level Emulator) is a Nintendo 64 (N64) video game console emulator designed to allow gamers to play console games on their PCs. Developed by Emulators, Inc., UltraHLE was one of the first emulators to enable gamers to play N64 games on their PCs. The emulator was released in 1999, and quickly gained popularity among gamers. It was noted for its easy to use interface and high compatibility with N64 games. The emulator allowed gamers to play games at higher resolution than the N64 was capable of, as well as allowing gamers to use cheat codes, save states, and various other features. While UltraHLE was an important early emulator, it has not been updated in many years and is no longer considered a viable option for playing N64 games.
