Commander One is a powerful free file explorer, with FTP as a paid option and does the job better than FileZilla (which is so insecure and overpriced it defies explanation) and Cyberduck, which is pretty mediocre.
ftp feature missing in normal version
Discontinued The extension does not work in Firefox 57 and later versions. The developer ended support and development of FireFTP after 13 years. The extension still works in XUL-based Firefox forks such as https://alternativeapp.info/software/waterfox/ and https://alternativeapp.info/software/palemoon/.
FileZilla is no longer supported, this is compatible with https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64&start=1005#p156191.
Warning It has clearly been 'superseded' by the original FileZilla, see https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64&start=1005#p156191.
Discontinued In March 2009, the development of BitKinex was stopped and it became freeware. The latest version, 3.2.3, can still be downloaded from the official website.
Warning Be aware that installing FileZilla on your computer might install some packages / malware on your machine. See this thread in the FileZilla forum: https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=48441
